My five-year-old daughter has been a picky eater since she turned one. After her first birthday, her preferences changed and she started to turn away from the whole, fresh foods that she used to consume with joy. Her only vegetable by preference was roasted or baked sweet potatoes, and only a small handful of fruits as long as they were sweet. She would eat potatoes in the form of fries. The struggle was real!
Vitamix for the win!
This mama needed a trick to get some healthier vegetables and fruit in that little growing body without any chunks of evidence. And then I—literally—saw a sign. My husband and I were shopping at Costco one day and there was a demonstration with a sign offering promotional discounts on the Vitamix Blender. With very little hesitation, we added it to our shopping cart and became Vitamix owners.
Since we’ve purchased this amazing blender, we have been making healthy smoothies for both my daughters, adding spinach, avocado, kale, carrots and so much more to their fruit smoothies. They absolutely love the taste and texture and have not suspected any leafy greens or good fats added to it at all.
More than smoothies
The Vitamix V1200 is easy to use and has the power to customize every texture, from smooth purées to chunky salsas—and everything in between. It’s versatile and can even be used to heat up soup. Due to its unique design, Vitamix V1200 leaves nothing behind with little to no wastage of the whole foods used. Its blending process releases the juice and retains all the nutrients for you to consume. And with picky eaters like mine, every nutrient counts!
Top Reasons To Invest in a Vitamix
This is a great quality machine and very durable. It is easy to use and clean, and has lots of power! One of my favourite features is that it has a self detect technology, where it can recognize the different size containers used to make small and larger quantities.
There are so many amazing recipes online for the Vitamix and so many uses. I know that this will become your go-to tool.
